ASTM F136 Gr5 Eli Titanium Rod
ASTM F136 Gr5 ELI titanium rod is a surgical implant-grade α+β dual-phase titanium alloy rod, complying with ASTM F136 standard for medical implantation (UNS R56401), and it is an extra-low interstitial (ELI) high-strength titanium alloy specially designed and widely applied in high-reliability medical implants and high-precision medical device industries.
Chemical Composition: Ti as the balance, Al 5.5-6.5%, V 3.5-4.5%, with ultra-strictly controlled interstitial impurities (Fe ≤ 0.25%, O ≤ 0.13%, C ≤ 0.08%, N ≤ 0.05%, H ≤ 0.0125% for bar), guaranteeing superior biocompatibility, minimal metal ion release and long-term in-vivo service safety, which is more suitable for permanent implant scenarios.
Key Characteristics: Outstanding strength-to-weight ratio among high-purity medical titanium alloys; excellent tensile strength (≥ 860 MPa) and fatigue resista
ASTM F1472 Gr5 Titanium Rod
ASTM F1472 Gr5 titanium rod is a surgical implant-grade α+β dual-phase titanium alloy rod, complying with ASTM F1472 standard for medical implantation, and it is a high-strength titanium alloy widely applied in medical implants and high-performance precision industries.
Chemical Composition: Ti as the balance, Al 5.5-6.75%, V 3.5-4.5%, with strictly controlled interstitial impurities (Fe, O, C, N, H), guaranteeing excellent biocompatibility and long-term in-vivo service safety.
Key Characteristics: Outstanding strength-to-weight ratio among medical titanium materials; great tensile strength and fatigue resistance, far superior to commercial pure titanium Gr1, Gr2 and Gr4; moderate formability and favorable machinability; exceptional corrosion resistance against body fluids and harsh chemical media, as well as reliable structural stability under continuous high-load and moderate-temperature conditions.
Rod Form: Available in round rods as the mainstream type, plus square rods and hexagonal rods; manufactured through hot forging, hot rolling and cold drawing processes.
Production Process: Produced from high-quality titanium sponge, vacuum arc remelting (VAR) ingot casting, billet precision forging, hot/cold working, solution or stress-relief heat treatment, surface finishing including pickling and precision machining, straightening, fixed-length cutting and strict non-destructive inspection.
Main Applications: Medical field (orthopedic bone plates, high-strength bone screws, spinal implants, surgical implant components and medium-load medical devices); Aerospace field (high-stress lightweight parts, engine fasteners, pressure-bearing structural components); Industrial field (high-strength corrosion-resistant fittings for marine, chemical and extreme working environments).
ASTM F67 Gr1 Titanium Rod
ASTM F67 Gr1 Titanium Rod is a surgical implant-grade α-type commercially pure titanium rod, complying with ASTM F67 standard (for surgical implants), and it is the purest grade of industrial pure titanium in medical and high-precision fields.
Chemical Composition: Ti ≥ 99.5%, with extremely low impurities (Fe, O, C, N, H), ensuring excellent biocompatibility.
ASTM F67 Gr2 Titanium Rod
ASTM F67 Gr2 titanium rod is a surgical implant-grade α-type commercially pure titanium rod, complying with ASTM F67 standard (for surgical implants), and it is a high-purity grade of industrial pure titanium widely used in medical and high-precision fields.
Chemical Composition: Ti ≥ 99.2%, with low impurities (Fe, O, C, N, H), ensuring excellent biocompatibility.
Key Characteristics: Excellent ductility and formability among commercial pure titanium; easy to cold-form, bend and weld; higher strength than Gr1, lower strength than Gr4; excellent corrosion resistance (especially to physiological fluids) and good low-temperature toughness (no cold brittleness).
ASTM F67 Gr4 Titanium Rod
ASTM F67 Gr4 titanium rod is a surgical implant-grade α-type commercially pure titanium rod, complying with ASTM F67 standard for medical implantation, and it is a high-strength commercial pure titanium widely applied in medical implants and high-load precision industries.Chemical Composition: Ti ≥ 99.0%, with strictly controlled trace impurities (Fe, O, C, N, H), guaranteeing stable biocompatibility and long-term service safety.Key Characteristics: Outstanding comprehensive mechanical properties among commercial pure titanium; great hardness and tensile strength, superior to Gr1 and Gr2; moderate formability and weldability; exceptional corrosion resistance against body fluids and harsh chemical media, as well as reliable structural stability under continuous high-load and low-temperature conditions.Rod Form: Available in round rods as the mainstream type, plus square rods and hexagonal rods; manufactured through hot rolling, precision forging and cold drawing processes.Production Process: Produced from high-quality titanium sponge, vacuum arc remelting (VAR) ingot casting, billet forging, hot working, stress-relief heat treatment, surface finishing including pickling and precision machining, straightening, fixed-length cutting and strict non-destructive inspection.Main Applications: Medical field (high-load bone plates, heavy-duty bone screws, structural implant components and high-strength surgical devices); Aerospace field (high-strength lightweight parts, pressure-bearing structural components and cryogenic service parts); Industrial field (high-strength corrosion-resistant fittings for marine, chemical and extreme working environments).
