AMS 4900 Grade 1 Titanium Wire

AMS 4900 Grade 1 (UNS R50250) titanium wire is an aerospace-grade commercially pure titanium wire. It meets the AMS 4900 specification and is classified as an alpha-phase titanium alloy. Unlike alpha-beta alloys such as TC4 or beta alloys like TB13, Grade 1 maintains a single-phase alpha structure at room temperature. This unique microstructure provides: excellent ductility, superior corrosion resistance, high purity, etc . With strictly controlled impurities (H ≤ 0.015%, O ≤ 0.18%), Grade 1 wire is widely used in aircraft airframe structures, hydraulic tubing, corrosion-resistant fasteners, and non-critical structural components where formability and corrosion resistance are essential.

AMS 4901 Grade 2 Titanium Wire

AMS 4901 Grade 2 (UNS R50400) titanium wire is an aerospace-grade commercially pure titanium wire. It meets the AMS 4901 specification and is classified as an alpha-phase titanium alloy. Grade 2 offers higher strength than Grade 1 while retaining excellent ductility and weldability. This unique combination provides: Balanced strength and ductility – Higher strength than Grade 1, better formability than Grade 4 Superior corrosion resistance – Outstanding performance in seawater, salt spray, and chemical environments Excellent weldability – Ideal filler wire for titanium structures With strictly controlled impurities (H ≤ 0.015%, O ≤ 0.25%), Grade 2 wire is widely used in aircraft airframe structures, hydraulic tubing, corrosion-resistant fasteners, welding wire, and general aerospace components where reliability and corrosion resistance are critical.

AMS 4902 Grade 4 Titanium Wire

AMS 4902 Grade 4  titanium wire is an aerospace-grade commercially pure titanium wire.Aerospace Grade 4 Titanium Wire (UNS R50700) manufactured in accordance with AMS 4902 standard, It meets AMS 4902 specification and is classified as an alpha-phase titanium alloy. It offers higher strength than Grade 1 and Grade 2 while retaining good ductility and weldability. This provides:
  1. Higher strength than Gr1 and Gr2– Ideal for moderate load-bearing applications
  2. Good ductility– Can be formed and bent without cracking
  3. Superior corrosion resistance– Outstanding performance in seawater, salt spray, and chemical environments
With strictly controlled impurities (H ≤ 0.015%, O ≤ 0.4%), Grade 4 wire can be used in aircraft structural components, chemical processing systems, marine aviation parts, and general aerospace hardware where higher strength than Grade 2 is required.

AMS 4928 Ti-6Al-4V Titanium Wire

The aviation grade titanium wire AMS 4928 Ti-6Al-4V (equivalent to UNS R56400,) corresponding with UNSR56400, is an SAE-certified alpha-beta dual-phase titanium alloy wire. It is specially designed for demanding applications in aerospace and high-end precision manufacturing. It is widely used in aerospace with its features such as gives high strength, light weight, and reliable performance, which are the exactly what high-end projects need.

AMS 4951 Grade 12 Titanium Alloy Wire

AMS 4973 Grade12 (UNSR53400) titanium alloy wire is a near-alpha titanium alloy with the nominal composition Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni. It meets the AMS 4973 aerospace specification. Unlike alpha-beta alloys such as Grade 5 or beta alloys like TB13, Grade 12 offers exceptional corrosion resistance while maintaining good strength and weldability. This unique composition provides: Superior corrosion resistance–Outstanding in reducing acids, chlorides, and high-temperature brines Good strength–Higher than pure titanium grades (GR1/GR2) Excellent weldability–Can be welded without risk of cracking
