AMS 4900 Grade 1 Titanium Wire
AMS 4900 Grade 1 Titanium Wire Description
AMS 4900 Grade 1 Titanium Wire is an aerospace-grade commercially pure titanium wire. It meets the AMS 4900 specification and is classified as an α-phase titanium alloy.
Unlike α-β alloys such as TC4 or β alloys like TB13, Grade 1 maintains a single-phase α structure at room temperature. This unique microstructure provides: Excellent ductility, superior corrosion resistance, high purity, etc.
With strictly controlled impurities (H ≤ 0.015%, O ≤ 0.18%), Grade 1 wire is widely used in aircraft airframe structures, hydraulic tubing, corrosion-resistant fasteners, and non-critical structural components where formability and corrosion resistance are essential.
