Aerospace GR2 titanium foil

Aerospace GR2 Titanium Foil Description

1. Introduction

Aerospace Gr2 titanium foil is made from Grade 2 commercially pure titanium (Ti≥99.2%) and produced using aerospace-grade processes with strict quality control. It is an ultra-thin titanium foil/strip designed for lightweight structures and corrosion-resistant parts in aerospace applications.

This material offers a well-balanced combination of strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. Compared with Gr1, it provides higher strength while still maintaining excellent formability, making it a reliable and cost-effective choice for non–high-strength alloy applications in aerospace engineering.

It is commonly used in aircraft fuselage skins, interior structural parts, tubing components, and non–high-temperature engine parts. These applications require stable quality, consistent performance, and full traceability, which this material is designed to ensure.
