1. Introduction
Aerospace Gr4 Titanium Foil is a high-strength titanium foil made from Grade 4 commercially pure titanium, produced to aerospace standards such as AMS 4901. It offers the highest strength among commercially pure titanium grades, while still maintaining good corrosion resistance and a stable α-phase structure without heat treatment. This ensures reliable performance in long-term use under stress, vibration, and harsh aerospace environments. Vacuum melting and precision rolling with strict control of O, N, and H elements provide consistent quality and stable properties.
Compared with Gr1 and Gr2 titanium foils, Gr4 provides higher strength and better structural stability. Gr1 is the most ductile, Gr2 offers a balance of strength and formability, while Gr4 is chosen when higher strength and load-bearing performance are required.
It is commonly used in aircraft structural parts, thin-wall components, piping systems, and other aerospace parts that require high strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
