Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel-Zirconium Materials Processing Co., Ltd. and Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel Rod & Wire Materials Processing Co., Ltd. Officially Commence Production

On June 3, the Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park in the Baoji High-tech Zone welcomed two new additions to its ranks: Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel-Zirconium Materials Processing Co., Ltd. and Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel Rod and Wire Materials Processing Co., Ltd.—both subsidiaries of Shaanxi Titanium Valley New Materials Industry Development (Group) Co., Ltd.—officially commenced operations and production.

Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel-Zirconium Materials Processing Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of high-end titanium, nickel, and zirconium strips and foils, as well as shape memory alloy materials, primarily for use in national defense, military industries, and the new energy sector. With a total project investment of 220 million RMB, the facility is equipped with key machinery including precision rolling mills, integrated online annealing and cleaning lines, foil leveling lines, and slitting lines. Capable of producing ultra-thin, aviation-grade titanium foil products measuring as fine as 0.02 mm in thickness by 670 mm in width, the company will further enhance my country’s capacity for independent and controllable supply chains in titanium materials across the aerospace, national defense, and new energy fields. By injecting powerful momentum into the regional economy, the facility aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons and generate an annual sales revenue of 789.5 million RMB.

Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium-Nickel-Zirconium Materials Processing Co., Ltd. represents a project with a total investment of 250 million RMB. Its primary equipment consists of a world-class rod and wire production line imported from Danieli, Italy—featuring a 750mm blooming mill, 450mm and 300mm intermediate rolling mills, and a continuous finishing rolling line. Upon completion, the facility will establish an advanced, intelligent production line dedicated primarily to titanium materials, while also accommodating the production of rods and wires made from nickel and nickel alloys, zirconium and zirconium alloys, and other rare metals. The product range encompasses high-quality rods with diameters ranging from φ6.5mm to φ220mm; the facility is projected to achieve an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons and generate an annual sales revenue of 900 million RMB.

From the commencement of construction in April 2024 to the launch of formal production, the two companies—upholding the principles of “honing technical expertise and practicing moral integrity”—are leveraging the advantages of the Baoji Titanium Valley industrial cluster. Focusing on the deep processing of high-end titanium, nickel, and zirconium materials, and centered on intelligent production lines, they are dedicated to establishing a world-class processing base for new materials.
