1. State the titanium grade or material designation

If cosmetic acceptance is critical, supply a reference image, approved sample, or written acceptance standard with the RFQ.
5. Include edge, flatness, and shape requirements
Thin foil can be sensitive to edge condition and handling. Identify whether slit edges, trimmed edges, camber limits, flatness limits, or a specific edge quality are required. If these requirements are not stated, quotations may be based on standard commercial practice rather than the needs of a precision operation.
6. Identify required tests and documents
List every document needed at shipment, such as a material test report, certificate of conformity, dimensional inspection record, packing list, or customer-specific report. If your purchase order calls for a particular standard, revision, or test method, include it in the RFQ so the quotation can identify any additional inspection or documentation work.
7. Explain the end use without disclosing unnecessary proprietary details
A short description of the end use helps identify practical issues early. For example, mention whether the foil will be formed, welded, chemically processed, used in a clean assembly, or supplied for a prototype versus repeat production. 8. Give quantity, delivery location, and timing
